Filmowy Dziedziniec FINA – kino plenerowe

The courtyard of the National Film Archive - Audiovisual Institute at its headquarters on Walbrzyska Street traditionally invites the public to the summer cinema in Warsaw. The opening of the season took place relatively soon, on 17 May as part of Museum Night. Until the end of the summer holidays, every Friday At 22:00, you can count on interesting titles being shown on a giant screen. Admission is free, but it is worth registering in advance. This is because the screenings take place using headphones, and the number of headphones is limited.

The programme ranges from classics such as 'Stand by Me' and 'Mr Hulot's Holiday' to newcomers such as the Spanish animation 'Dog and Robot' to ambitious genre cinema 'Devil's Bath' and the documentary 'Porcelain War'. An additional end-of-season highlight, on 29 August, is the event silent disco. Playing: DJs Landscape, Daisy Cutter and Freux.

The Open-Air Cinema in Szczęśliwicki Park offers an open-air cinema stage throughout the summer. The green glade below the hill is also an ideal location for family evenings, walks and picnics. The area is home to cafés, food trucks and ice cream parloursso you can have a snack before the screening. There is an intimate atmosphere - a bit of a festival atmosphere, but without the crowds.

Need a peaceful break after a long week at work? Outdoor cinema in Warsaw on Friday - is the perfect option. Alone', on the other hand, is an intimate story about loneliness and the search for meaning in today's world. A dynamic portrait of contemporary youth, exploring the boundaries between ecstasy and confusion, can be found in the production "On the Rise". A total of a dozen great film offerings screened until 22 August.

Kino plenerowe Włochy – Park Ogrody Kosmosu

Thanks to funds from the Civic Budget, residents of Warsaw's Włochy can enjoy summer screenings under the stars in two locations within their neighbourhood. On Saturday, it is worth visiting Marek Kotański Park, and on Friday evening spend the evening in the Kosmos Gardens Park. The pleasant green space with alleys, lawns and a picnic area is perfect for relaxing before the screening. You can take a little walk beforehand to warm up before the viewing. And then make yourself comfortable with your own blanket and snack pack.

Summer film series lasts until 29 August 2025. In July, screenings start at 9.15 p.m. and in August already at 8.45 p.m. The carefully composed calendar offers something for everyone. Humour, drama and festival pearls. For example, you will see titles such as 'Miś', a well-known and much-loved classic of Polish comedy, as well as Sofia Coppola's critically acclaimed picture 'Priscilla'. Fans of biographical stories on 22 August have the opportunity to see 'Queen of the Desert. Kino plenerowe w Dorożkarni

In the intimate courtyard of the Dorożkarnia House of Culture in Mokotow hides one of the most atmospheric stops of the Film Capital of the Summer. The FSL - an all-Warsaw outdoor cinema project - combines a diverse repertoire with free access to the cinemas in parks, beaches and other recreational areas.

For the 2025 season at this location, the organisers are inviting the 'Laughing Dorozkarnia' series. This will mainly comedy screenings and films with a light, humorous tone. The August programme presents, for example, the comedy-drama "Love Again" or the Czech satire "Emergency Situation". Although most of the titles are of an entertaining nature perfectly in keeping with the name of the series, films with a slightly more serious tone can also be found. One example is "A Man Named Otto". The Laughing Dorozkarnia is a cinema that aims, above all, to make its audiences laugh, cheer them up and bring them cinematic joy. Screenings take place on Fridays, until 29 August. In July at 21:30, in August at 21:00.

XV Białołęckie Lato Filmowe

For the fifteenth time open-air cinema in Bialoleka invites the city's residents to a hefty dose of cinematic excitement, until 15 August. Henrykowski Park is a green patch of the district cut by the peaceful Henrykowski Canal. A pleasant area surrounded by old trees and new plantings of flowering shrubs and magnolias with illuminated alleys. The area is conducive to walking all year round and in the holidays makes a perfect landscape for film screenings. Nearby is a McDonald's restaurant - a convenient place to score a quick meal or stock up on a pretty good coffee.

The project is implemented by the Foundation for the Development of Film Art in cooperation with the Film Capital of Summer and the municipal budget of Warsaw. Friday screenings start at 21:30 in July and at 21:00 in August. The repertoire is an intense mix of world hits, festival titles and Polish auteur cinema. You will see films such as "The Girl with the Needle" - a drama with thriller themes, while "The Chosen One" is a moving sci-fi drama. And 'Conclave' is for fans of engaging political thrillers. The wide range, from mainstream entertainment to ambitious environmental cinema, will hit a variety of preferences.

Kino Plenerowe na Bemowie

Bemowo Cultural Centre season 2025 popularises the summer cinema formula in several locations within the district. In the first month of the summer holidays at Bemowo Amphitheatre in Park Górczewska. August venues include SM Rozłogi - the square next to the Oligoceń well, SM Jelonki - the square in Sucharskiego Street and the grounds of Primary School No. 150.The screenings take place in Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (except 15 August). Start at 8: 30 p.m., from 11 August at 8 p.m. The project ends on 29 August.

In the second half of the summer, look out for offerings such as the award-winning "La La Land". Jazz, dreams and the romance of Los Angeles in a magical musical that has won as many as 6 Oscars and the hearts of audiences around the world. "Doctor Dolittle", on the other hand, is a comedy classic for the whole family, starring the one and only Eddie Murphy. The final screening of this edition is the humorous 'Emma the Brave'. An animation that teaches courage, perseverance and self-confidence, regardless of age. The variety of styles means that there is something for everyone - whether fans of classics, danceable stories or screenings for the whole family.

Ursynowskie Lato Filmowe 2025

The lawn next to Kopa Cwila, next to the Ursynów metro station and the green area next to the Ursynów District Cultural Centre create an ideal space for the summer cinema in Warsaw. The event is organised by the Ursynów district of Warsaw in cooperation with the Foundation for the Development of Cinematography and DOK Ursynów. Viewers have at their disposal 300 deckchairsbut you can also spread out on your own blanket. Screenings take place regardless of the weather. Only extreme conditions may result in an announcement on Facebook that a screening has been cancelled.

The cinema runs every summer Friday until 29 August, with the exception of 1 August (the anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising). In July it starts at 9.30 p.m., in August at 9 p.m. The programme ranges from dramas, comedies, thrillers to non-fiction cinema. Carefully selected quality films from around the world. Including the historical drama 'Inglourious Basterds' with Mads Mikkelsen, 'Couples Therapy' - a Spanish comedy about love relationships. "White Courage", on the other hand, is a Polish moral drama, and "Civil War" an intense thriller full of tension, emotion and brutally topical questions about the future of democracy.

Letnie Kino Lay’s na Placu Konesera

Koneser Square is the heart of the revitalised Praga-Północ district. A vibrant space, surrounded by brick buildings of the former vodka factory, now turned into galleries, restaurants, boutiquesas well as modern offices. It is here, surrounded by urban art and culinary discoveries, that a unique cinematic event takes place on summer Friday evenings - Lay's Summer Cinema in Koneser Square. It is part of the Summer of the Connoisseurorganised by Centrum Praskie Koneser in cooperation with the Lay's brand. The screenings are free of charge and the whole event is financed by sponsors as well as private partners. By the way, you can take a look at Museum of Polish Vodka. As well as jumping into one of the pubs for a drink or simply strolling through the industrial yet stylish space of the Koneser Praga Centre.

Until 29 August, every Friday at 7.30pm, audiences can sit on deckchairs under the open sky and watch carefully selected films. From art cinema to cult classics to mainstream productions. The title 'Perfect Days' by Wim Wenders is worth noting. It is a subtle, festival award-winning drama about everyday life and loneliness. The season finale, on the other hand, will see the screening of the concert documentary 'Stop Making Sense', directed by Jonathan Demme. A kind of tribute to Talking Heads. The repertoire is a neat fusion of different genres, as well as different styles.

The screenings are held in the original language version with Polish subtitles. Audiences aged 15 and over can attend. In the event of adverse weather conditions, there is a risk that screenings may be cancelled.

The picturesque area around Brustman's Ponds attracts walkers and cyclists. A green corner of Bielany in friday evenings in august is also a good destination for all lovers of cinema experiences under a cloud. As part of the "Ekolato" series, the organisers, the Film Capital of Summer and the Bielany District Office, invite you to free film screenings. Regularly, every week at 21:00, until 29 August.

The common denominator of the titles in this series is ecological message. What films are playing on screen? 'Wanda Rutkiewicz. The Last Expedition". This moving documentary tells the story of one of the world's greatest Himalayan climbers, who disappeared in 1992 during an ascent of Kanchendzonga, leaving behind a legend and many questions. Another picture, 'Honey Hunters', shows the fate of wild bees in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and the role of humans in their survival. And 'Emma and the Black Jaguar' is an adventurous and emotional story for the whole family. It treats the extraordinary friendship of a girl and a wild cat in the heart of the Amazon.

Ursus Open-Air Cinema - Eko Park continues its series of July screenings in Hass Park. Located in the green heart of the Ursus district, the park is an ideal space for film evenings under the stars. The charming place, surrounded by tree-lined avenues, benches and a relaxation area, provides a pleasant setting for a open-air cinema in Warsaw on Friday. A successful, cultural start to the summer weekend. Screening time - 9 p.m. The End - 29 August. The project is organised by the Ursus district of the City of Warsaw in cooperation with the Foundation for the Development of Cinematography, and the free screenings are held thanks to the support of the city budget.

The August repertoire is cross-cutting cinema. You will find domestic hits as well as ambitious titles. This includes the film adaptation of Sapkowski's saga "The Witcher" or the charming comedy with thriller elements "Fanka". There is also the Polish epic '1920. Bitwa Warszawska', and at the end of the month the light 'Stand Up Girl' or the drama 'Boss of the Year'. The programme combines popular cinema with artistry and festival touches to reach a wide audience.

Kulturalne Dachowanie / Kino Kępa na Dachu

Picturesque Saska Kępa, leading the artistic way among Warsaw's districts, invites you to Cultural Roofing in the summer. Literally, as the film screenings take place on the amphitheatre roof of Prom Kultury. The view from here is epic. Saska Kępa, full of villas, cafés and green streets, is the perfect setting for a variety of outdoor artistic events, including screenings.

The project organiser is Saska Kępa Culture Prom. Admission to the screenings is payable - 25 zł. Screenings take place on Fridays until 29 August, at 8.45 p.m., and at the end of the holiday, from 22 August at 8 p.m. The calendar includes diverse items, including gems for discerning festival-goers as well as cinematic novelties. For example, 'Pianoforte' is an intimate documentary showing behind the scenes of the legendary Chopin Competition, following the lives of young pianists struggling for prestige, emotions and the fulfilment of their artistic dreams. On the other hand, a drama with coming-of-age elements, 'Babygirl' focuses on growing up, family relations and the emotional turmoil of the young protagonist. A solid dose of good cinema on the roof!

Kino Letnie na Białołęce

Stork Corner is a green recreational area in Białołęka friendly to walkers and families with children. Here you will find a modern playground, a small skatepark, as well as comfortable benches for lazy relaxation. Thanks to the combination of nature and an intimate atmosphere, the park has become one of the local community's favourite meeting points. The three August evenings here are marked by the magic of the cinema. The project is implemented by the Foundation for the Development of Cinematography in cooperation with the Białołęka District Office.

On Friday 8 August, the opening film - At the Service of an Esteemed Lady. A warm French comedy based on the bestselling novel by Gilles Legardinier, it offers a subtle sense of humour as well as a reflection on second chances in life. The next screening takes place on Saturday 23 August. It's sprinkled with awards and nominations and is a subtle social satire on workplace relationships with an excellent performance by Javier Bardem. Last holiday hit screened on Saturday 30 August is the Oscar winner for Best International Film, "On the Rise". Emotions and laughter guaranteed!

Kino plenerowe na Opuszczonym Peronie

The cinema on the so-called Second Platform of the Night Market in Wola, operates in the setting of an old, abandoned railway platform. The raw, industrial atmosphere heightens the atmosphere of horror and mystery. Night Market is a seasonally operating place that most Varsovians know. A culinary mecca with concepts offering cuisines from different parts of the world in a formula of street food. A popular venue full of music, street art and a unique atmosphere.

The summer cinema project is the result of a collaboration between Night Market and the Smoke Screen team, which specialises in organising such events. The programme includes Saturday shows, 19 July, 16 August and 6 September. It's a fit for fans of horror cinema. First up is Steven Spielberg's legendary 'Jaws'. In August, the equally iconic 'The Shining' hits the screen. The outstanding Jack Nicholson as a writer descending into madness. In contrast, a fresher title, 'Substance', is scheduled for the action finale. This role earned Demi Moore a Golden Globe and an Oscar nomination. Open-air cinema in Warsaw in various locations is keen to reach for this controversial and stylish body horror.

Admission is stated as free, but a cocktail purchase should be expected. The author's smoky whisky-based drinks are sure to prove a successful addition to the screening. Popcorn is free of charge. And after the screening, the organisers invite you to dance and party the night away.

In addition to the Night of Horror Cinema, a second series was launched at the Abandoned Platform on 2 August -. Harison Ford Tribute. The other shows in the series take place on Friday 19 September and another day later on Saturday.
