UKI UKI is owned by a native Japanese, originally from Tokyo. His culinary passion was instilled in him by his grandmother, who ran a restaurant in Nagano. At UKI UKI, the following is prepared from scratch udon noodles according to the Sanuki method, which originated in Kagawa Prefecture - the northernmost region of Shikoku Island. It is made from flour, water and salt. All three locations of the chain operate in Warsaw's Śródmieście district and specialise in Japanese soups modelled on the best traditions of the Asian street food.

Kitchen manager at UKI UKI Kohei Yagi is a renowned specialist in Japanese cuisine. He ensures that all dishes are created from scratch: from the best quality ingredients and according to original recipes. The most popular dishes here are soups: udon and ramen. The gyoza dumplings, which are made on site and accompany the ramen, are also popular with guests. Crispy on the outside, they have a soft juicy filling of cabbage, minced pork and chives inside.
