IV Letni Przegląd Filmowy „Pod Wspólnym Niebem”

The Summer Film Review 'Under the Common Sky' is one of the most worthwhile film events of the Warsaw summer. The fourth edition of the review takes place from 9 July to 10 September at the John Paul II Thought Centre - the organiser of the review. This year's edition kicked off on 11 June, with the finale on 27 August 2025. The screenings take place, as the name suggests, every Wednesday at 9pm, just after dark. In case of inclement weather, the event may be cancelled. Therefore, it is better to check Lolka's Facebook before going out. Admission to the glade at 2 Rokitnicka Street is free, with comfortable deckchairs and a great atmosphere. It's worth bringing a blanket and good friends to turn Wednesday evening into a little Oscar celebration under the cloud.

Letnie Kino Plenerowe na Targówku – Dom Kultury Świt

Świt Community Centre is the vibrant centre of Targówek. Full of interesting workshops, meetings and local energy. In the summer of 2025, it invites you to the "Summer Open-Air Cinema in Targówek", which runs from 25 June to 27 August at the location by DK Świt. Each week offers cinematic evenings full of excitement. The screenings take place on Wednesdays, initially at 9.30 p.m. (June-July), and from August they start at 9 p.m. Admission is, of course, free - the cinema is open to all Targówek residents and visitors.

The 2025 screening schedule is a collection of interesting proposals for amateurs of popular hits, but also for connoisseurs of ambitious cinema. From the Argentinian black humour "Wild Stories" by Damian Szifron, through the Scandinavian political drama "Officer and Spy" by Polanski, to international hits like "The Wolf of Wall Street" by Scorsese or the war epic "1917" by Mendez.

Letnie Kino Plenerowe na Targówku dla Dzieci 2025 – Centrum Kultury i Aktywności

The Children's Summer Open-Air Cinema at the Culture and Activity Centre runs until 27 August 2025. It is the second open-air film venue for young audiences in Targówek, next to Wiecha Park. Screenings take place on Wednesdays A fixed schedule and a child-friendly formula make the cinema an enjoyable holiday ritual.

It is a touching and humorous tale of an unusual friendship between a girl and a gentle giant, created by Steven Spielberg. Hayao Miyazaki's 2008 Japanese animation 'Ponyo' continues to delight with its cartoon aesthetic. To finish off the holiday, you will see 'Wiki and her secret'. A warm, inspiring story of adventure, passion and friendship, it is full of wise messages for young audiences.

Filmowe Środy – Letnie Kino Plenerowe dla Dorosłych

Wesoła District Cultural Centre is a place with a unique history. It was established in the 1980s thanks to the commitment of local people, who built its foundations with their own hands. Today, it acts as a dynamic centre of local cultural life. It offers, among other things, concerts, performances, exhibitions, workshops and meetings for children, young people, adults and seniors, and in the summer also an outdoor cinema on the patio. Film Wednesdays are designed for adult audiences, while Monday Evenings are for children. Wesoła's summer cinema offers cinema-goers a friendly atmosphere, comfortable deckchairs and often free popcorn. In case of bad weather, the screening is moved to the centre's concert hall. The screenings take place every Wednesday in July at 21:00 and August at 20:30.

Film Wednesdays - The Adult Summer Outdoor Cinema features a range of carefully selected titles, playing until 27 August. From reflective dramas to European arthouses, to brilliant comedies, as well as festival cinema. The programme includes the award-winning documentary 'Queer', paying tribute to the LGBTQ+ community. Also playing in the second half of the holiday is 'At the Service of an Esteemed Lady'. This is a light-hearted French comedy that humorously tells the story of class relations and the unexpected friendship between a maid and her eccentric employer. In contrast, 'Appetite for More. La Cocina' is a stylish social drama set in a New York restaurant, portraying the lives of immigrants through the lens of culinary passion and daily struggles. Audiences can expect a broad spectrum. Independent cinema, award-winning documentaries and general public films - truly for everyone.

Kino Letnie w Pałacyku Konopackiego

Praga Culture House on the terrace of the historic Konopacki Palace overlooking Praga Park, hosts a tasteful open-air cinema. Screenings take place regularly every second Wednesday and Saturday. Wednesdays (2, 16, 30 July; 13 August). Saturdays (12, 26 July; 9, 23 August). Screenings start at 9 p.m., and in August at 8.30 p.m. The film screenings take place in the original language versions with Polish subtitles. In case of unfavourable weather conditions, the screenings are moved to the Performance Hall of the Konopacki Palace.

Bemowo Cultural Centre season 2025 popularises the summer cinema formula in several locations within the district. In the first month of the summer holidays at Bemowo Amphitheatre in Park Górczewska. August venues include SM Rozłogi - the square next to the Oligoceń well, SM Jelonki - the square in Sucharskiego Street and the grounds of Primary School No. 150.The screenings take place in Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (except 15 August). Start at 8: 30 p.m., from 11 August at 8 p.m. The project ends on 29 August.

In the second half of the summer, look out for offerings such as the award-winning "La La Land". "Doctor Dolittle", on the other hand, is a comedy classic for the whole family, starring the one and only Eddie Murphy. The final screening of this edition is the humorous 'Emma the Brave'. An animation that teaches courage, perseverance and self-confidence, regardless of age. The variety of styles means that there is something for everyone - whether fans of classics, danceable stories or screenings for the whole family.

Amphitheatre in Sowińskiego Park in Warsaw's Wola is one of more than twenty venues on the Film Summer Capital map. The space is conducive to open-air screenings not only because of the pleasing surroundings of the park's green alleys and historic architecture, but also the canopy and the large number of seats. These are practical advantages of the location. In addition, in the immediate vicinity of the park, atmospheric pubs and restaurants await cinema-goers, including very good sushi.

The programme is a mix of cult hits, new releases and challenging arthouse cinema. Genres range from musical dramas to independent and family cinema. In addition, lectures by the SPLOT Foundation are held before selected screenings. This is an organisation promoting values such as solidarity, equality and social responsibility. As a rule, the cinema day is Wednesday, but the organiser does not rule out changing the dates. The last screening is on 27 August. After the screening of the documentary "RAVE", about the history of the development of techno music and rave culture in Poland, DJ set Marcelo Zammenhoff (the film's protagonist) will treat guests to his music. Chomicz Park in Bielany is a place where neighbours, joggers and children on bicycles meet in the shade of mature maple and birch trees. It forms the natural, green centre of the neighbourhood bustling with energy without being too public. Wednesday evenings pass here under the sign of the open-air cinema, located at the Colourful Land kindergarten. The time of the screenings depends on the date, but all August shows start at 8 p.m. Finishing on 27 August.

In a pleasant, open-air setting, a decent portion of family films, documentaries but also festival-quality ambitious pictures await the audience. It is worth booking time for, for example, the film "Next Ride". This multi-generational comedy based on a heartwarming story of seniors is distinguished by a strong cast headed by Marcin Opania, Małgorzata Rożniatowska, Julia Wieniawa and Wiktor Zborowski. Another title that motivates visitors to Chomicz Park is "Better Man. The Amazing Robbie Williams" closing this year's programme.

Kino POLIN. Dokument na Łące

POLIN Museum is a modern cultural institution dedicated to the thousand-year history of the Jews on Polish soil. Its impressive interiors house an award-winning permanent exhibition, temporary exhibitions, and educational spaces. It also hosts cultural events that promote dialogue, tolerance and remembrance. Right next to the museum, in a picturesque meadow on the side of Lewartowskiego Street, surrounded by grass and trees, an intimate, reflective outdoor cinema takes place.

In keeping with its name, the 'Documentary on the Meadow' repertoire is dominated by documentary and feature cinema with environmental, social and historical themes. It is one of the cycles of the Film Capital of the Summer - the ambitious and inspiringbut also accessible and engaging to the audience. For example, 'A Strategy for the Earth' and 'Guardians of the Dead Sea' are award-winning films that address issues of protecting the planet and our future. As part of the 20th anniversary edition of the Film Capital of Summer at OPAK Park in Praga-South on the first two Wednesdays in July and the first two Wednesdays in August (9 p.m.), the cinema under the stars plays. Quiet greenery, young trees and a relaxed, neighbourhood atmosphere create conditions suitable for midweek film relaxation. After the screening, you can take a stroll in the park or opt for a stroll along Grochowska Street, which is one of the main arteries of Praga-Południe. Architecturally diverse and full of contrasts, it combines the historic urban fabric with the modern energy of the district. The first of the August offerings at OPAK Park is a multifaceted drama about power, loyalty and the human struggle for a better tomorrow - the film 'Bastard'.
