UAE - Arnold de Boer (The Ex) - NL

Arnold de Boer began his musical career in the mid-1990s. Since 2009 he has been the vocalist and guitarist of the legendary Dutch band The Ex, a band that has a true cult status worldwide.

UAE is Arnold's own project, started in 1995. We can expect excursions to different corners of the world - from danceable, deformed pop, 8-bit sounds, African rhythms, punk riffs and, on the other hand, acoustic songs sung in his native Frisian language. Friesland is a historical land in north-western Europe, along the North Sea coast, now within the borders of the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark.
Arnold de Boer has collaborated, recorded and shared the stage with artists such as Xavier Charles, Getachew Mekuria, Ab Baars, Ken Vandermark, Paal Nillsen-Love and many others. Since 2012 he has been recording and touring with African artist King Ayisoba (Ghana).

Arnold de Boer runs his own independent label called Makkum Records. He is currently on tour with his latest album 'We are still each other's only hope'. An album of remixes from his catalogue has just been released by German Krachladen - Dub Records.
