PERSONA 2025 Women's Art Festival
Jadwiga Stańczakowa. Emerging from the shadows

This year the festival events will take place in various Warsaw locations: Mazovian Institute of Culture, LUNA Studio Cinema, and in urban spaces. Unless otherwise stated, events take place at the MIK headquarters, 12 Elektoralna Street.

Festival programme:
12:00 Yoga, meditation and breathing
Martyna Peszko and Cela Sobolewska lead the class
14:00 Indelible traces of the Warsaw Ghetto
During the walk, we will explore the history of the Warsaw Ghetto, the daily life of its inhabitants and the tragic end of the Warsaw Jewish community. The walk is organised by the Jewish Historical Institute. Leader: Dr. Szymon Pietrzykowski

18:00 Why do we need Herstories in institutions
debate with the participation of Agnieszka Jankowiak-Maik: Vice-President of the Women's History Museum Foundation, Dr Marianna Otmianowska, Director of the Royal Łazienki Museum, Barbara Gołębiowska, Director of the Maria Skłodowska-Curie Museum in Warsaw, and Joanna Cichocka-Gula, Director of the Goyki 3 Art Incubator in Sopot. The discussion will be moderated by Magdalena Ulejczyk, director of the MIK and originator of the Festival.
