During the class you will learn the secrets of creating rhythmic sounds using your body. We will begin with diction and breathing exercises to enhance your vocal skills. We will then explore the art of imitating instruments such as drums, trumpet, strings and the sounds we hear around us every day. We will consider how you can create your own unique sound. There will also be learning how to work with a metronome and microphone to improve your sense of rhythm and control stress, so that stress motivates rather than paralyses. You will have the opportunity to learn the secrets of a beatboxer.
