Post-punk experimental band Warmduscher will perform in Poland for the first time this summer! The Londoners will present their multicoloured work on 11 August in Krakow's Hype Park and on 14 August in Warsaw's Proxima.
Warmduscher is an example of a band that by no means succumbs to the pressure of expectation, but instead sets its sights on compositional development with each successive album, adding ever newer genre additions to its already rich mix. Founded in London in 2014, the sextet has five albums to their credit, each of which retains its own character. They debuted with 2015's 'Khaki Tears', followed three years later by its follow-up, 'Whale City', and just a year later their third album, 'Tainted Lunch', which featured guest appearances from the legendary Iggy Pop and rapper Kool Keith, saw the light of day. 'At the Hotspot' premiered in 2022, while the latest material in their discography so far is last year's excellent 'Too Cold To Hold', which is also the first fruit of the Londoners' collaboration with Strap Originals.
They say themselves that chaos is the recipe for their work, which may be logical given the multitude of influences, but Warmduscher is a line-up of extremely talented musicians who have complete control over this chaos and use it to embark on an extremely interesting musical journey. Post-punk, funk, the polyrhythmic groove of gqom music (the South African version of house music), hip-hop flavours, disco pogo or jazz - you will find it all on "Too Cold To Hold" and even more in their catalogue and at their concerts. Let yourself be carried away by them and come to Warmduscher's concerts in Krakow and Warsaw - you will certainly be impressed!
