Sons of anarchy, gather! The White Buffalo returns to Poland. On August 27th, Warsaw's Niebo will be filled with stories that sound like they've been plucked from dusty roads, backwater bars, and difficult life choices. Agata Karczewska will be the supporting act.
Jake Smith is the man behind The White Buffalo – a songwriter with an unmistakable voice. You're familiar with his songs, even if you're not always aware of them – they've appeared in shows like Sons of Anarchy, Californication, Longmire, and The Punisher, but it's live that they truly deliver.
Over the course of nearly 25 years, Smith has drawn from alternative country, blues, and Americana, but it's emotion that plays the most important role in his work. If you enjoy music that doesn't try to please, but rather gets straight to the point, this is the night for you.
Agata Karczewska is a Warsaw-based singer-songwriter who blends American folk and country with intimate, emotional songwriting. Her work is based on honest lyrics, distinctive vocals, and minimalist arrangements inspired by artists such as Bob Dylan and Elliott Smith. She has performed at festivals such as Pol'and'Rock and Sweden's Way Out West, and has also won the Fryderyk Award and the Mateusz Trójki Award. Agata's discography concludes with the EP "Not My First Rodeo," released in late 2024, and she previously recorded the Fryderyk-winning album "On the Wrong Planet" with John Porter.
