The Swell Season to perform two concerts in Poland! The duo, famous, among other things, for their award-winning music for the film and musical Once, will perform on 24 May at Warsaw's Stodoła Club.

After a handful of sold-out shows in March 2022 and a US tour in 2023, The Swell Season are back with a European tour! Markéta Irglová and Glen Hansard gained popularity in 2007 when they starred in the film Once. The following year, they won the Academy Award for Best Original Film Song for their song 'Falling Slowly'. The film's track also garnered two Grammy nominations. Following their eponymous debut album (2006), The Swell Season released 'Strict Joy' (2009).
In 2012, the musical 'Once' debuted, winning as many as eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Over the past decade, 'Once', in its various versions, has become a modern classic and cultural reference, referenced in productions such as 'The Simpsons' and 'Ted Lasso'. This contemporary masterpiece has created a unique and loyal community of fans around the world.
In recent years, Irglová has released three solo albums and Hansard fans have lived to see five studio albums. The latest, All That Was East Is West Of Me Now, was released in 2023.
