Hilary Szczebrzeszynski, Professor of Imagination, sets off with the audience to Kukiełkow. In this traditional Polish village, children learn about folk rituals (Marzanna drowning, St. John's Night, Harvest Festival) and play with puppets. Participants perform in the Queen Bona's Yarn Theatre, meet the Scarecrow and dance with puppets during St John's Night.
The performance uses 20 puppets, and the whole is complemented by songs composed by Agnieszka Glinska.
Tickets, priced at 20 PLN (children and adults), can be purchased in the facilities of the Wilanów Cultural Centre and online from 12 May. Please buy your tickets in advance (up to Friday) and arrive on time for the performance. The number of seats is limited.
