Cinematography is the most popular of the arts today, and film music continues the tradition of classical music . The beautiful melodies, performed by symphony orchestras, are composed by composers who inherited their talent from Bach, Mozart and Chopin.
The indispensable Grupa MoCarta has decided to dedicate its new programme to film music and the brightest stars of the silver screen. Poland's most recognisable quartet will present a one-of-a-kind performance - both for those who know the world of cinema inside out and for those for whom it still holds many secrets. "Ale kino" is a humorous look at the timeless hits of film music, meetings with Charlie Chaplin, Woody Allen, Tom Hanks and the actor who is the biggest loser of world cinema....
The 'Ale kino' programme will feature low-budget special effects on a par with Hollywood super productions, a story about the history of film, a dancing Lord Vader and lots of great music, spiced up with the masterful sense of humour of the MoCart Group - Paweł Kowalik, Bolesław Błaszczyk, Michał Sikorski and Filip Jaślar.
