Soulstone Gathering presents:
* The Devil and the Almighty Blues (Norway) - psych/stoner rock/blues:
They are as bitter as life, and Berlin Desertfest regulars love them the way you love family. Pretty strong assets, right? Someone might call The Devil and the Almighty Blues rootsy hard rock, someone a stoner, but the clue lurks in the band's name: it's the blues. Rough and rainy, albeit with occasional flashes of light. Sink into those greasy riffs and vocals straight from the guts.
* Red Scalp (Poland) - psych/stoner rock:
Definitely one of the gems of the Polish guitar playing scene. The band was formed in 2012, when a fascination with the work of Black Sabbath, or legends of psychedelia and stoner, merged with a desire to create their own music. Red Scalp added a pinch of doom, synths and saxophone to the musical recipe and thus defined their style. A unique combination of classic desert stoner, psychedelic visits from friends on other planets and North American Indian culture.
