Spieszy, aka Hubert Dobaczewski, is a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter known for his long-standing performances with the band Lao Che, as well as his solo work. He is a distinctive artist, recognizable for his original artistic language, which combines alternative sounds with an ambitious, literary message.
His solo albums include "Antyszanty," "Black Mental," and "Heartcore." The album "Heartcore" was nominated for a 2023 Fryderyk Award in the Alternative Music category, confirming its high artistic value and recognition within the music community. In 2025, Spięty was honored with the title of "Ambassador of the Polish Language" in the Polish Language Council magazine, a unique distinction for his literary work and dedication to the language.
The single "Blue," from the album Heartcore, spent 21 consecutive weeks at number one on the Radio 357 charts, remaining in the top ten for over 90 weeks. This is testament to the immense interest of the audience and the artist's influence.
In the spring of 2026, Spiety's new album, Full HD, was released. This album represents the next stage in the artist's artistic evolution. Full HD is mature, bold, and contemporary in its message—combining alternative sounds with refined lyrics. The songs reflect on modernity, the human condition, communication, and identity in a world of excess stimuli and information. Spiety's characteristic attention to words, metaphors, and linguistic precision gives the project not only a musical dimension but also a literary and intellectual one.
