Immerse yourself in the summer atmosphere and discover extraordinary music in the picturesque setting of the Baroque palace in Wilanów. In August, we invite you to three unique outdoor concerts - each different, each extraordinary!

Free tickets for a given concert can be obtained from the Wilanów Cultural Centre at 3 Kolegiacka Street in the week preceding the event.

Ba...ROCK concert - Silesian Chamber Players Quintet

This concert is an unusual meeting of worlds - the sounds of classical music with the energy and nostalgia of rock and pop, and at the same time great fun in the guessing game "What if...". e.g. Antonio Vivaldi met Seweryn Krajewski and together they composed the song "Flee my heart"? Or what would the song 'Under the Parrots' by Czesław Niemen have sounded like according to Fryderyk Chopin? And combining the song 'How deep is your love' by the Bee Gees with the works of J. Strauss has an astonishing effect, as does Ravel's 'Bolero' combined with Deep Purple's 'Child in Time'. Other unexpected combinations the audience will hear are P. Tchaikovsky and the band Queen in the song "Somebody to love", A. Piazzola and the band The Animals in the song "House of a rising sun" or J.S. Bach and Procol Harum in "Whiter shade of Pale".

Incorporating quotations from classical music and juggling conventions into popular music guarantees great entertainment and, above all, an extended knowledge of classical literature.

The concert will be hosted by the group's primarius, Dariusz Zboch, who, with his characteristic swagger and sense of humour, will talk about how the classics meet entertainment, how Bach can sit alongside Queen, and how emotions know no stylistic labels.
