On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the birth of poet Halina Poświatowska (1935 - 1967), we would like to invite you to a unique performance entitled "PNEUMA" based on the author's biographical prose entitled "A Story for a Friend". "A Story for a Friend.

For almost the entirety of her short life, she is accompanied by illness and existential anxiety, yet she manages to maintain her youthful highs and be a role model for others. Her desire to live despite the threat of death becomes the motif of her peculiar works, mainly her famous love lyric.
Poświatowska, read and recited in many countries, is unknown for her enormous efforts to hide her constant pain and disability. This Polish Frida Kahlo learnt a breathing technique and even a way of walking, after which she was compared to a butterfly, whereas for her it was walking like on broken glass.

The performance offers an insight into the poet's story through an original form. We attempt a creative exploration - how to find freedom in bodily constraint, which paradoxically becomes a source of creation.

Kamila Kamińska (born 31 December 1988 in Warsaw) is a Polish film and television actress, known for her roles in numerous television and film productions. She graduated from the Acting Department of the Łódź Film School (PWSFTViT) in 2014. She gained popularity thanks to her roles in productions such as Love and Mercy (2019), where she played Sister Faustyna Kowalska, and The Best (2017), for which she received the Award for professional acting debut at the Polish Feature Film Festival. She has also appeared in series such as 'Barwy szczęścia', 'Zakochani po uszy' and 'Diagnoza'.
