What do the childhoods of our grandparents and great-grandparents in the 1930s and 1940s have in common with those of today, on the right side of the Vistula? We will answer this question together with Ola Wasążnik, a storyteller from the Museum of Warsaw's Praga district.
A walk in the footsteps of yesteryear to discover what it was like growing up in Prague's backyards. Together we will look for places, objects and memories that tell the story of childhood as an experience connecting generations of Prague residents.
One of the keys to the history of the newer childhood will be the Prague murals.
Meeting point: 3 Inżynierska St.
The walk is part of the 'I'll Tell You a Story' project, which has been run by the Museum of Warsaw's Praga district for two years. We are collaborated on a voluntary basis by passionate storytellers. Often, they are not professional guides to Warsaw, but ordinary male and female residents who feel connected to the right bank districts - and want to tell others about them.
