This year's Night of Shooting Stars will be special! It will be preceded by a partial solar eclipse, and the accompanying new moon will make sky observations easier. We invite you to join us!
We'll begin at 7:00 PM. To admire the eclipse, we'll take telescopes to the roof of the Copernicus Science Centre. The phenomenon will be visible from 7:14 PM and will end about an hour later, with sunset.
Then we'll go down and start watching for the Perseids at 9:00 PM. We'll invite interesting guests, show you the meteorites, and there will be live music and food trucks.
