'The Sleeping Beauty' is based on the classic fairy tale written by the Brothers Grimm. It is a play about a parent's boundless love for their child and the child's attempt to protect themselves from the dangers lurking in adulthood. It is a story of love, freedom and friendship between parent and child, and how the world has changed over the course of the princess's 100-year dream. The story of Sleeping Beauty shows that it is worthwhile to trust a child and support their independence. The show reminds us how important it is to protect nature and take care of nature.
