We meet on Saturday, 29 March 2025, at 6pm at Teatralny Square, at the junction with Wierzbowa Street under the statue of Wojciech Bogusławski. The walk is scheduled to last approximately 1.5h.
You are invited to a walk dedicated to the theme of the world's oldest profession, during which we will learn:
- What were fish bladders?
- Who supervised the brothels?
- How were venereal diseases treated in the past?
- Where was the castellan's tabernacle located?
- Who visited brothels in a red wig?
- Who taxed prostitutes in 18th Warsaw?
- How were light-hearted women punished in the past?
- What were the ladies of light in the past called?
- Why were underpants considered a cursed item of clothing?
- Where did the gentlemen who preferred gentlemen take care of their needs?
- Where did the red light come from in public houses?
