Siena Root live in Poland! Back to the rock roots!

Swedish band Siena Root, masters of rock psychedelia, return to Poland for a series of concerts! Their sound, immersed in the 60s and 70s, will draw you into a journey to their musical roots. The band will appear in Gdynia, Poznań, Piekary Śląskie and Warsaw, where they will revive the spirit of rock rebellion.

For more than two decades, Siena Root has been delighting audiences with the passionate performances and spontaneous, wild improvisations for which they are renowned (as heard on their 2011 live album Root Jam). Their work is born both in the studio and... in the Swedish forests, where the band records surrounded by nature, which adds a primal, raw energy to their music. Siena Root is a tribute to the roots of rock - their name evokes the African red of the earth (siena) and 'root' - the roots with which they tap into the purest sounds of the genre.

Since their debut with the album 'A New Day Dawning' (2004), the band has opted for analogue sounds, cassette tapes and the sound of Hammonds, making each song pulsate with authentic energy. They have achieved mastery in balancing tradition and innovation, creating music full of emotion and vivid expression.

Today Siena Root is Sam Riffer (bass), Love Forsberg (drums), Johan Borgström (guitar) and the charismatic Zubaida Solid (vocals). Together, they evoke the atmosphere of yesteryear, but with fresh new power.
