Shai Maestro (born 1987) is one of the most outstanding pianists of his generation. Since his debut in 2011, he has shaped his unique style and his trio has become one of the most harmonious groups on the music scene.

With two albums on ECM, produced by Manfred Eicher, the Maestro has joined the ranks of legendary jazz pianists such as Keith Jarrett, Paul Bley and Chick Corea. His latest album Human (2021) was written during the pandemic and shows further evolutionary changes in his music.

In addition to concerts, the Maestro composes film music, writes for orchestra and produces for other artists. Among others, he has worked with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orquestra de Câmara Portuguesa, for which he created the work Alice in 2022.
