The Representative Band for the first time at the Cultural Forge! Due to overwhelming interest and the sold-out concert on 20 May, we are announcing a 2nd date on 19 May!

The representative team is Jarosław Gugała, Marek Karlsbad, Filip Łobodziński, Marek Wojtczak and Adam Lewandowski and Piotr Stawski!
In the 1980s, they drew crowds (of students and non-students alike) for programmes devoted to the ballads of Catalan Lluis Llach, the songs of Frenchman Georges Brassens or the songs of Sephardic Jews. They translated and arranged them themselves. After many years of hibernation, the Representative Ensemble in its best line-up (Gugała - Karlsbad - Łobodziński - Wojtczak) returned in 2006 to make sporadic appearances on stage.

In December 2007, the band released a new live album entitled. 'Buddies are Ground', which achieved Gold Record status in 2010. In March 2014, the Band released a book - an album entitled. "The Wall" in Polish and Catalan versions. After a 3-year pandemic hiatus, the Band is returning to the stage to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the beginning of their activity.

During concerts, the band performs many songs from old and new programmes. Among others, songs by Lluis Llach, Georges Brassens, Bob Dylan or Paolo Conte in their own and friends' translations.
