Do you enjoy reading and talking about books?
We invite you to the Studio for meetings.
Books for Crisis reading club.
It is an authorial series of meetings by Agata Napiórska, who selects the readings and invites guests.
We see you on selected Tuesdays of the month in the foyer of the Studio Theatre, and it's best to come after you've read a reading (we'll keep the list updated, also look in for special discounts from the publishers), but you can also just listen to the talk.
At the first meeting we will talk about Miranda July's book 'On all fours' translated by Kai Gucio, published by Pauza Publishing House.
Anita MusioÅ, the Polish publisher of Miranda July, and Kaja Gucio, the book's translator, will be in attendance.
Agata Napiórska is a journalist, author of the books 'SzczÄÅliwe przypadki Józefa Wilkonia' (Marginesy 2018), 'Ha-Ga. Pictures from Life' (Marginesy, 2023) and two volumes of 'How They Work' (WAB 2017 and 2019). By day, she is publisher and co-editor-in-chief of the magazine 'ZwykÅe Å»ycie' and editor-in-chief of the magazines 'Åadne Bebe' and 'Kukbuk'.
