In the Daoist practice of inner alchemy and transformation, the three Dantien signify the three main energy fields in the human body. They are attributed to the three great sources of energy (Heaven, Earth, Man), the three energy bodies (physical, emotional, mental) and the three treasures (Jing, Qi, Shen).
The cultivation of these three energies provides the foundation for the subtle processes of inner purification and transformation. In this workshop, we will focus on the feminine path in Qi Gong and Nei Gong, with particular emphasis on the importance of the second (middle) Dantien and its role in a woman's inner process. We will also discuss moon cycles and menstruation as a natural process of purification and emotional harmonisation.
Key issues:
● Understanding the three Dantien and getting in touch with their specific energies
● Three Treasures: Jing, Qi, Shen
● Female perspective in Qi Gong and Nei Gong
● Lower Dantien and activation of the central pump (Kua) as the foundation of energy work
● Second Dantien as the central energy field in women
● Connecting the uterus and the heart: intuition and emotional processing
● The challenge of emotional 'leakage' in women
● The role of menstruation and the lunar cycle in emotional cleansing.
During the workshop we will focus on subtle, deep inner sensing. We will follow and learn to understand the interaction between the energies of the three Dantien, with a particular focus on the lower and middle Dantien. Supporting this journey will be both Qi Gong in movement and Qi Gong in stillness.
