Welcome to the new year 2025! Art in House invariably features a powerhouse of unique works that will take your breath away and delight you every time. Coming up on 17 January is the 95th New Art Auction, where 122 works of painting and sculpture will catch your eye.
At the very beginning of the catalogue, you will come across large-scale works by eminent artists. Wojciech Brewka will show us the painting 'Art Collector', in the background of which he has placed a controversial, expensive banana. Robert Jadczak will take us to a dance, this time under Mount Fuji in Japan, and J. Aurelia Sikiewicz-Wojtaszek will present us with the astonishing Guardian of Worlds. On Zbigniew Hinc's work, in turn, we will see an unbelievable, surreal city.
The catalogue will feature many works tinged with the energetic colour red. One of these is a female portrait by Hanna Klopotowska, in which warm colours are balanced with cool ones. Kate Hope treats us to a decorative female image, where red plays a central role. The Three Art Group, on the other hand, has prepared an interesting painting in which red, green and blue are balanced.
Look out for paintings in which the most important thing is the painterly depiction of light. A very luminous composition with a mermaid was created by Katarzyna Paleta. In Adam Wątor's work, light and darkness meet on the figure of a female figure. In Gothic cathedrals, the light streaming through the stained-glass windows makes an incredible impression, and this is what you will see on Dawid Masionek's canvas. Despite the darkness, there is no darkness on Piotr Banaszkiewicz's work - the illuminated windows of the houses add mood to the composition.
