470 days. That's how long it took me to circumnavigate the world. 61 days longer than before. Probably because this time I was with my wife. She's always late and gramming. (I will have to mention this somehow.) There are many things I have to mention. There may be little about the trip. That's okay. I've written two books about it. 70 minutes of monologue + supports - probably enough.
This will be my first solo show in years. It feels like people have a lot of expectations: the current monologues have a total of tens of millions of views on YT, on top of that I've done the biggest interviews in the country and I've been doing stand-up for a dozen years. It remains to keep my fingers crossed that nothing will change. (Where did the saying keep your fingers crossed come from? I'll check later).
One thing is for sure, this evening will be a real comedy journey. An adventure. Vagabond.
A fully international comedian. He has performed in over thirty countries, on five continents, in three languages. That's right, Peter survived 409 days of travelling around the world. How did he do it? Nobody knows.
Recently, he spent 10 minutes trying to open a sachet of ketchup and then poured mustard over his fries. The last sentence of his bachelor's thesis is "Newton died at the end of his life". And to this day he thinks Ikea is a hot dog restaurant that sells furniture on the side. During his travels, among other things, he drank ayahuasca with a shaman in Peru, fell in love with a Colombian prostitute, heard his future from an Indian fortune teller and looked after an Australian snake for a month. And this is just the tip of the iceberg of topics that Peter covers. The tip of the iceberg that, knowing life, Piotrek has also been on.
He has performed on TVP, Comedy Central, Indian car commercials (this is no joke) and at major festivals around the world. Today, in addition to performing in Polish and English, he runs an international comedy stage in Warsaw, is writing a book and thinking about how to create a more convenient ketchup sachet.
