Picnic outdoors - a day full of music, fun and attractions
The Royal Castle in Warsaw invites you to the Outdoor Picnic. Already on Saturday, 6 September, the Castle Gardens will turn into a space full of music, shows and workshops - a place where everyone, including the youngest and whole families, will find something for themselves. Among the attractions there will be theatre happenings, concerts, educational walks, as well as meetings with interesting guests, history and art.
Picnics in the Gardens of the Royal Castle in Warsaw have been held since 2019. They have evolved from an intimate event into one of the capital's most important summer cultural attractions - attracting nearly 15,000 participants, adults and children, every year. In previous years, the picnics have thronged Warsaw residents and Varsovians, becoming an opportunity to actively spend time with the family in the beautiful Castle Gardens, where history meets the present.
This year's edition is inspired by the rich court culture. The programme takes a closer look at past customs and entertainments, showing that the past can be fascinating and full of energy. Visitors will not only be able to relax in picturesque surroundings, but will also be able to experience the atmosphere of old court life in the heart of the capital. The picnic will culminate with an intergenerational dance. Visit us and discover the joy of playing together amidst the greenery of the Castle Gardens!
