Mikołaj Sikała - student of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk in the class of ad. Kordian Góra. A graduate of the piano class of the State Music School of the 1st and 2nd degree in Gdańsk-Wrzeszcz, where he studied under the direction of Alicja Michowska and Małgorzata Stożyńska. He is a laureate of, among others, first prize and two special prizes at the 10th International Piano Competition in Goerlitz/Zgorzelec (2011), second prize in the category "piano duet for four hands" and second prize in the category "duet for two pianos" at the XXV International Piano Competition in Rome, first prize in the category "chamber ensemble" at the 15th Juliusz Zarębski International Music Competition in Łomianki (2015) and third prize in the category "piano duet" at the 14th edition of this competition. He also received the award for the best accompanist, music student of the 10th Competition of 20th and 21st Century Music for Young Performers in Radziejowice (2014) and the title of Laureate of the Young Stage of the 49th Polish Piano Festival in Słupsk, where he was also awarded two special prizes - the Jerzy Waldorff Award of Radio Gdańsk and the Słupsk Socio-Cultural Society Award (2015).
