MichaĆ Dziewior - graduated with honours from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the piano class of Professor Wojciech ĆwitaĆa and from postgraduate studies at the Universitat fur Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Vienna under the direction of Professor Jan Jiracek von Arnim.
He has participated in masterclasses given by such eminent pianists as Daniil Trifonov, Kevin Kenner, Tobias Koch, Tamas Ungar and Krzysztof Jablonski.
He is the winner of many competition prizes, the most important ones being: a distinction and the "young critics' prize" at the 1st S. Moniuszko International Polish Music Competition in RzeszĂłw (2019), 1st prize at the 2nd International "Livorno Piano Competition - Young" in Italy (2018), 3rd prize at the 4th International Piano Competition "Halina Czerny-StefaĆska In memoriam" in PoznaĆ (2017). In 2018 he received the Scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for outstanding artistic achievements. In 2021, he was awarded the prize for the outstanding pianist-cameralist at the 1st MieczysĆaw Wajnberg International Violin Competition.
He has given recitals in Nohant in France, at the Ehrbar Saal in Vienna, in the Royal Ćazienki Park and at the Fryderyk Chopin Museum in Warsaw, and at the Fryderyk Chopin Birthplace in Ć»elazowa Wola. In 2022, he performed a series of Chopin recitals in the United Arab Emirates as part of the EXPO world exhibition. In the same year, he took part in the concerts of the 19th Ensemble Festival, performing on one stage with artists such as Tomoko Akasaka and Jakub Jakowicz. In 2023, he appeared at the 46th Karol Szymanowski Music Festival in Zakopane performing a chamber recital in duo with violinist Karolina GĂłrny.
He has performed with many orchestras, including: National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, Silesian Philharmonic, Podkarpackie Philharmonic, ĆwiÄtokrzyska Philharmonic, Kaliska Philharmonic. In 2015, he performed at the Berlin Philharmonic accompanied by Das Sinfonieorchester Berlin, inaugurating the orchestra's concert season.
