Piano recital - Martyna Kubik

- Waltz in F major Op. 34 No. 3,
* M. Ravel - Gaspard de la nuit, I - 'Ondine'.

Martyna Kubik was born on 25 July 1999 in Kraków. In 2017 she graduated with distinction from the F. Chopin State Secondary Music School in Kraków in the class of Professor Olga Łazarska. In 2022 she graduated with an excellent grade from the K. Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the piano class of Professor Zbigniew Raubo. She is currently a postgraduate student at the K. Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the piano class of Professor Zbigniew Raubo. Since 2023, she has worked in the Department of Woodwind Instruments and the Department of String Instruments at the K. Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice.

She is the winner and finalist of many piano competitions, the most important being:
- Stanisław Moniuszko International Competition of Polish Music in Rzeszów,
- Polish Piano Festival in Slupsk,
- F. Chopin National Piano Competition in Warsaw,
- National Piano Festival Chopinowskie Interpretacje Młodych in Żychlin,
- National Piano Competition in Konin,
- West Pomeranian Piano Competition in Szczecin,
- H. Czerny-Stefańska National Piano Tournament in Żagań,
- H. Czerny-Stefańska and L. Stefański in Płock,
- B. Bartok International Piano Competition for Children and Young People in Warsaw.

In 2015, as the winner of the Special Prize for the Greatest Individuality of the 20th National Piano Tournament in Żagań, she was invited to the USA - she played a recital in New York.
In 2017, she qualified for the Morningside Music Bridge international music masterclass in Boston, organised by the MMB Foundation in collaboration with the Calgary Philharmonic Society and the New England Conservatory.
She has performed, among others, in the USA, Switzerland, Germany, the NOSPR in Katowice, the National Philharmonic Hall, the Cracow Philharmonic, the Silesian Philharmonic, the Gorzów Philharmonic, the Fryderyk Chopin Museum in Warsaw and in Żelazowa Wola, the City of Gardens in Katowice, the Fryderyk Chopin European Art Centre in Sanniki, and has given concerts with the Silesian and Gorzów Philharmonic orchestras.
She has received scholarships from the Young Poland programme, the National Fund for Children, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the Prime Minister and the Malopolska Foundation ,,Sapere Auso".
