Mateusz Krzyżowski - Tychy Ambassador of Culture. Graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in the class of Professor Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just (2023).
His interpretations are appreciated for their naturalness and freedom in shaping the musical expression, formulated with care to convey the composer's intentions as faithfully as possible. The artist regularly performs in the most prestigious concert halls in Poland and around the world.
Winner of numerous competition prizes: 1st prize in the I. J. Paderewski International Piano Competition in Bydgoszcz (2022); 1st prize in the 12th "Arthur Rubinstein in memoriam" International Competition for Young Pianists in Bydgoszcz (2021); 1st prize at the Fryderyk Chopin National Piano Competition (2018). In 2021 he represented Poland in the semi-finals of the 18th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. Mateusz has given concerts in the most important concert halls in Poland (including the National Philharmonic Hall, the NOSPR Concert Hall in Katowice, the Silesian Philharmonic Hall, the Cracow Philharmonic Hall, the Lodz Philharmonic Hall and the Świętokrzyska Philharmonic Hall) and abroad - including the United States of America, Japan, France, Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, Lithuania, Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates.
