Opening of the Autone exhibition

AUTONE - One of the most original representatives of the urban art movement; active as a graffiti artist since 1998, he quickly developed his style into abstract graffiti, post graffiti and graffuturism. His distinctive geometric compositions are inspired by the city as an urban structure, light and electronic music. When creating in public space, he improvises, trying to fit in with his surroundings and make use of the spatial context of a given place. He focuses his work mainly on external realisations, less frequently realising studio projects.
His body of work includes numerous spatial installations and land art works (including the 'Accents' project). In 2013, he won first place at the Sopot Fringe Festival with his land art installation 'Aalga'.
It was also featured in the 2011 publication "Graffiti in Poland 1940-2010″ by Tomasz Sikorski and Marcin Rutkiewicz.
Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Gdansk University of Technology (diploma in urban planning in 2009). As an employee of the City Aesthetics Department at the City Hall in Gdańsk, he was the initiator of the 'Project to give artistic decoration to the facades of tenement houses in the area of the Main City in Gdańsk', as well as the author and executor of the decoration of several of them. He has also gained experience in spatial planning, architecture and landscape architecture; currently he professionally creates large-format murals (including the largest mural in Poland - Łowicz, 2023)
Between 2015 and 2018 he lived and worked in London, where he realised numerous paintings from his 'Postcartography' series on the streets of Brixton, Camden Town, Croydon, Dalston, Hackney, Hoxton, Penge and Shoreditch, among others. He has participated in Magda Danysz's 'The London Project' (2015) and has collaborated with the global agency Global Street Art, among others. The colourful mural 'Pride Matters' he made with Neist in 2020, part of the largest mural in the UK, has become an important landmark on the street art map of London and has been included in the digital collections of Art UK, among others.
In 2020, together with Proembrion, he realised one of the longest murals in Poland, 'Horizons in motion', with an area of over 1,200 m2, located in Bydgoszcz on the retaining walls of the new tram line. Inspired by the music and topography of the area, the project was an attempt to animate a painting composition viewed only in motion.
He is the author of large-format murals made in abandoned places. He has created, among others, in Cyprus, Gran Canaria, Tenerife and the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Spain, North Macedonia, Morocco, Mexico, Germany, Sweden and Ukraine.
His works have been presented in solo exhibitions, including '100%/11'(Sopot, 2011), 'CUTS' (Poznan, 2011), 'Lay//ers' (Sopot, 2014), 'Decorrugated' (Gdansk, 2021), '132B' (Gdynia, 2021). He has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including Berlin, Bologna, Gdansk, Gdynia, Glasgow, Lublin, London, Lodz, Minsk, Paris, Prague, San Francisco, Stockholm and Warsaw.
Participant in the 3rd and 4th editions of Urban Art Area.
