WOMEN OF ART - ART OF WOMEN is a series of lectures analysing the work of Polish women artists who, despite obstacles, have influenced the art world. The series begins with a lecture with the provocative title: "Why were there no great female artists?". Subsequent lectures are devoted to monographic stories about selected Polish female artists.
This time we would like to invite you to a lecture on the life and work of the outstanding Polish painter, Olga Boznańska, a representative of modern art of the highest international level. The meeting will be an attempt to understand her paintings through the filter of the artist's complicated and painful personal (and even intimate) experiences.
