Archiwum Główne Akt Dawnych zaprasza na noc z Hołdem Pruskim

Hołd pruski, czyli hołd lenny złożony królowi Zygmuntowi I Staremu przez Albrechta Hohenzollerna, księcia w Prusach, miał miejsce 10 kwietnia 1525 roku w Krakowie. Bezpośrednio przed nim zawarto traktat krakowski (dokument przechowywany w AGAD), w wyniku którego Prusy Zakonne zostały przekształcone w Księstwo Pruskie będące lennem Królestwa Polskiego. W wyniku traktatu krakowskiego, ostatni wielki mistrz Zakonu krzyżackiego, Albrecht Hohenzollern, przyjął wyznanie luterańskie i przekształcił państwo zakonne w świeckie, stając się jego władcą wyznaczonym przez króla Polski.
