Event organised as part of the programme accompanying the exhibition Direction Paris. Polish Artists from the Studio of Bourdelle
"Direction Paris. Polish Women Artists from Bourdelle's Studio'. This is the second instalment of a series of exhibitions - following the exhibition 'Without a Corset. Camille Claudel and Polish sculptors of the 19th century' (2023, MNW) - dedicated to Polish female sculptors. The new exhibition is an invitation to rediscover exceptional women artists who sought inspiration and built their own artistic identity in the Parisian studio of their master Antoine Bourdelle. Their works delight with a variety of forms, materials and themes, and the exhibition shows their work in a new light - boldly and without schemes.
