For several decades, Grzegorz Turnau has been one of the icons of Polish sung poetry. An outstanding vocalist, pianist, arranger, composer and poet, he began his musical journey as early as the third grade of high school at the Student Song Festival in Krakow, where he won first place. This performance opened the door to his great and colourful career, which began with an invitation to the legendary Piwnica pod Baranami.
