The opening concert of the Ecologies of Culture festival under the title "On nature and friendship" will take place in the Amphitheatre of the Wolski Cultural Centre. Exceptional artists will be performing: Natalia Przybysz will be in charge of the musical side and Diana Lelonek will be in charge of the visual side.

Guest participation was also announced by: Daria from Silesia and Igor Herbut.

Enjoy 90 minutes of musical storytelling narrated by an interdisciplinary combination of: pro-environmental songs selected by Natalia Przybysz and performed together with invited guests, visual composition by Diana Lelonek and animated images prepared by Grzegorz Polak. The whole is interwoven with Natalia's story about nature, inspired by the books 'Listowieść' by Richard Powers and 'Dwanaście srok za ogon' by Stanisław Łubieński.

Natalia Przybysz has been exploring the theme of nature in her work for years - the selected songs will form a cross-sectional journey through the 13 years of her discography. The programme will also include specially arranged Polish and foreign compositions touching on issues close to the ecology of culture. Each guest will also indicate a piece of music which, in their opinion, is about ecology, nature or adventure.

In her artistic practice, Diana Lelonek has been exploring the relationship between humans and nature for years, creating works at the intersection of art, science and activism. Her work is a critical response to overproduction, consumerism and environmental degradation. She uses photographs, found objects and living organisms to create images that not only illustrate but also contribute to a narrative about the state of nature today. Her work - known for her Center for Living Things series, among others - shows a world where nature and culture intermingle in non-obvious ways, provoking reflection on the future of the planet.

In addition to the important musical, visual and literary content, the production approach is equally important - we assume maximum use of existing scenographic elements, previously used during the tours of Monika Brodka, Natalia Przybysz and Krzysztof Zalewski, among others.
