18.00 STORY ABOUT SAVING MONUMENTS
How does the National Museum in Warsaw prepare for crisis situations and armed conflict? We would like to invite you to a meeting with Mirosław Olbrys, an archaeologist specialising in the protection and security of heritage and cultural institutions, and a participant in the action of saving monuments during the 2004-2012 conflict in Iraq. You will be able to find out, among other things, how the Museum's collections were saved during World War II, what current threats to heritage and cultural institutions are, and how museum collections are protected in peacetime and in crisis situations.
