Here she has squatted for a moment's rest, here she is working with a chisel and hammer in her hands and there she is already sweeping the floor. With a storm of short black curls, sometimes contemplative, sometimes smiling philosophically, Alina returned to Brzozowa ...
Through the objects and photographs with Alina Szapocznikow present at the exhibition, it is precisely this image of the sculptor that we wish to evoke. We want to make visitors, upon entering her Warsaw studio, feel the warmth of the body of an artist passionately in love with life up to its unjustly interrupted end with illness. We want to fill the place abandoned by the artist with her presence again.
Participation in the event is free of charge. No application or registration required. Intended for designated persons for whom the event is dedicated. The tour takes place during the designated hours.
