Two years after the release of the Frisco Moods EP, Mitch & Mitch took up the compositions of Ennio Morricone.

It all started in October 2020 with a social gathering at the home of one of the Mitches.

The next important stage in this story was the invitation of the band to the birthday of the Second Polish Radio Program, where the material was performed in full for the first time: https://youtu.be/RBOAUzilqvI

Over the next few months, the decision to formalize the project and record an album of Maestro's favorite songs matured. The session took place in late July 2021 at Studio S4.

The album's repertoire consists exclusively of songs from Morricone's easy listening/bossa nova period (1969-1971), which shouldn't come as much of a surprise to those familiar with Mitch & Mitch's artistic journey to date.
