-Hegemone:
The band's beginnings date back to 2010, starting as a break from old-school thrash metal playing. After a few visits by different musicians, the line-up began to stabilise at the beginning of 2012. Since then, Kacper, Tomasz, Jakub and Marcin have started to wander, creating material built of fury, heaviness, melancholy and psychedelia. There is no path, no destination. There is a moment of brooding devastation. More will not be recorded...
Defying:
The band Defying was formed in 2008 on the initiative of Rafał Warniełło and Tomasz Semeniuk. Soon after completing the line-up, the demo 'Phial of Prayers' was recorded. More demos followed, including 'Portraits' (2012). In 2013, there were personnel changes in the band.
In 2014, Defying released their debut concept album, entitled 'Nexus Artificial'. Two years after their debut, Defying entered the studio where they recorded over 30 minutes of new material, comprising the EP 'The Splinter of Light We Misread'. The CD, again self-released, features four tracks, including a cover of 'New Dawn Fades' by cult British post-punkers Joy Division. In addition, a music video was filmed for the song 'The Sunlight Recedes'.
Traces to Nowhere:
A project from Warsaw founded in 2010. The band's name is the title of the first episode of the TV series 'Twin Peaks', which is a non-musical inspiration for the band members. From the very beginning, the band has tried not to lock themselves into one musical trend. Their music is a mixture of very different sounds, drawn both from post-metal and post-rock or industrial, but also from the broadly defined alternative, even hinting at trip-hop. By rejecting frameworks, their work escapes patterns, giving space to music and words. Traces to Nowhere's songs are primarily heavy, multi-layered compositions, enriched by melodic vocals.
