Malta is a small country located in the south of Europe, in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea. Its unique location has made it extremely rich in history and culture. Here you can find prehistoric temples dating back 5,000 years, the remains of early Christian tombs, historic settlements that remember the Islamic era, magnificent Baroque palaces and churches, and the rich architecture of the country's capital Valletta, founded in the 16th century by the Order of St John. But it is also a very interesting island in terms of landscape. There are very high sea cliffs, blue caves at the foot of the cliffs and small bays with sandy beaches. Historical richness and natural diversity make Malta an attractive destination for many travellers and tourists.
