"Mazovia Mediaevalis" - or curiosities of everyday life in Czersk in the second half of the 14th century.

What did the world look like from the perspective of knights and commoners?
Was every armed man a knight?
How did the crew of Cherven Castle live in and out of duty?

Crafts, cuisine, medieval games and, of course, armour and period costumes - all of this will be available to see up close during a meeting with re-enactors from the Hufiec Kasztelanii Czerska group.

During the event there will be re-enactor stands in the castle courtyard, where you can learn about the rich history of the region in the Middle Ages. Re-enactors will explain what the world looked like from the perspective of knights and commoners. They will tell if every armed man was a knight.

In addition, you will find out how the crew of Czersk castle lived during their service and beyond. There will be a medical stand, a kitchen, medieval games and, of course, militaria and period costumes at our re-enactors' stands. The most adventurous will be able to learn archery and the basics of fencing or take part in a demonstration of blacksmithing or see a fencing duel between foot soldiers.

- Armoury - an exhibition of replicas of period weapons and armour, including the equipment of about 5 armoured men with the possibility to try on elements of the armour.
- Merchant - a stand where participants learn about the trade of a merchant (weighing things on scales, learning about spices, means of payment).
- Pharmacy stall - an exhibition styled on a medieval pharmacy stall
- Archery stand - a stand of an archer explaining the difficult basics of archery.

Shows on Saturday and Sunday:

- 12.00 - Lecture: Tales of black powder in the Middle Ages and a demonstration of small arms.
- 15.00 - Lecture: Getting ready for battle or how to dress and arm yourself

Field game "Mazovia mediaevalis" - everyday life in the Middle Ages

- Saturday, 11.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. or until cards run out
- Sunday, 10.00 - 15.00 or until cards run out

Game flow:

Players are given a task card at the start and have to find the right points and complete the corresponding tasks. After completing all the tasks, participants receive a commemorative diploma. The tasks relate to the daily life of the castle and town staff in the second half of the 14th century. The game takes about 40 minutes for the average player to complete.
