The Cloister Gallery invites you to a unique exhibition entitled 'Wood differently'. It will be an opportunity to admire the bas-reliefs of Marcin Niemyjski, who, as he says about himself, seeks inspiration in the everyday life around him and acts spontaneously. We would like the art presented in Galeria Krużganek to also become an inspiration for our visitors.
Exposure date: 1 March - 10 April 2025
Place: Krużganek Gallery, 3 Dewajtis Street, entrance A
Tickets: free entry, daily 8am-8pm
Marcin Niemyjski was born and raised in Podlasie. After finishing school, he came to Warsaw. His brother was involved in sculpting, so Marcin also decided to try his hand at it. In 2016, he bought his first set of amateur chisels. Since then, he has been making more works, continuing to perfect his technique. He treats dealing with wood as a passion that gives him a lot of joy.
In 2019, he took part in the 12th International Sculptors' Plein-Air in Górki Wielkie. He exhibited his work in 2021 at the tourism fair "Mission Kampinos" and at the harvest festival in Ozarow Mazowiecki. His bas-reliefs have also taken part in charity auctions for sick children. One of his works can be seen in the Museum of the Sorrowful Christ in Jeżowy.
