"Legendary pubs of the People's Republic of Poland" is a unique tour that will take you back to the years of your youth for a while.
We would like to invite you to an unusual trip, very different from the usual way of visiting the capital city. On board our vintage Jelcz "Cucumber", you will not only be transported back in time to the communist era, but you will also get to know places which, due to their history and the number of celebrities who have passed through them, have gained the status of legendary or even cult establishments. Don't know where the famous SPATiF was, where filmmakers used to party and who used to come to Hybrid? That means this is an attraction just right for you.
Participants in our unusual evening drive will learn, among other things:
- who the mascot of post-war Prague was, i.e. the legendary Wicuś Marynarz;
- Who told the intelligentsia to get the hell out of SPATiF in an emphatic manner;
- who the arabesques were and what it meant to order cognac and southern fruit at the bar;
- how many parts the famous Cameralna consisted of and who wished the gentlemen editors a good night;
- who, by plastering a colleague's leg and buying a one-way ticket, saved him from an imminent wedding;
- why Janek Himilsbach visited several doctors and valued his work as a stonemason;
- Who did not want to believe in Maklakiewicz's death.
This, of course, is only part of the attractions that await us along the route. On board our "Cucumber", Rafał Dąbrowiecki, a well-known and well-liked guide, and Tomasz Bareja, a brilliant Varsovian and antiquarian.
In addition, each participant will have the pleasure of tasting iced vodka in several of Warsaw's iconic pubs, and we won't forget about the traditional snack either. We will also be at the Museum of Polish Vodka, where everyone will take part in a tasting of the drink. After all, as the name of our trip says, you have to be able to drink.
Can you imagine a better prelude to further fun?
Please purchase with consideration. We do not anticipate returns.
