Michael Gira and Kristof Hahn, known from the legendary Swans, join forces again to present themselves at the only concert in Poland! The iconic duo will perform at the Warsaw Palladium on 25 April. A unique show guaranteed!

Both Gira and Hahn have numerous solo tours behind them. This time they are combining their visions in a joint instrumental and vocal set, including reinterpretations of Swans songs, new songs and other compositions. And yes, they will be performing in plush animal costumes for the occasion! The Gira/Hahn tour follows in the footsteps of Swans' epic four-disc live release, Live Rope, and heralds Swans' final 'big sound' on the triple album Birthing, coming this spring. Swans will head out on tour in autumn 2025.

Michael Gira founded the groundbreaking New York band Swans in 1982. The band quickly gained notoriety for their uncompromising, brutal and repetitive sonic attacks, extreme volume levels and Gira's self-aggressive, despairing vocals. Since 1999, he has been releasing his music under the name Angels Of Light. In the work of this project, Michael Gira is responsible for arranging and composing the songs, on which he is assisted by a variable group of musicians using a wide range of instruments such as strings, brass, brass, electric guitars, electronics and choral vocals. The pieces are often eccentric and extreme, in keeping with Gira's love of film music.

Kristof Hahn is an experimental, avant-garde rock'n'roll guitarist. Hahn's music oscillates between abstract, cinematic soundscapes and elegant, noir rock'n'roll songs. Hahn is best known for his lap steel guitar playing in the New York band Swans. He joined the band in 1989 on the Burning World tour and recorded the album White Light from the Mouth of Infinity (1990) with them. In 1998, he joined another project by Swans leader Michael Gira called Angels of Light. To this day, he still performs in the band Swans, despite several breaks over the years, but he does not forget his solo work either, focusing much of his attention on film music creation projects.
