"Seasons" is a film about love starring Lukasz Simlat as an egocentric actor who has to deal with the unexpected break-up of a long-standing relationship.
This is an intelligent comedy about a crisis in an actor's marriage, and is set in a theatrical world full of absurdities. It satirically tells a universal story about love and human relationships.
The private lives of the film's protagonists are mixed with the fates of the characters they embody on stage. The difficult emotions they experience are accompanied by surprising, lyrical humour. The stages of marital crisis follow like seasons in a theatre, with the exceptionally explosive relationship between husband and wife taking place during three different performances: 'Peter Pan', 'A Doll's House' and 'A Midsummer Night's Dream.' Marcin, played by Łukasz Simlat, involves the entire theatre company in his personal problems, which gives rise to many comedic situations. Next to Łukasz Simlat in the main role we will see Agnieszka Dulęba-Kasza known from the film "Biały Potok" and theatre roles.
