Weekend with Kazik Staszewski in Klub Stodoła! KAZIK solo and Kazik & Kwartet ProForma at the turn of January and February 2025
Kazik Staszewski, the legend of Polish rock, invites you to a unique musical beginning of 2025 in the Stodoła Club. Already on 31 January, he will perform together with the ProForma Quartet, and a day later, on 1 February, he will present himself in his solo project KAZIK. Kazik Staszewski is a lyricist, musician and arranger. He is also a co-founder and member of the bands: Kult, KNŻ, El Dupa, Buldog, Zuch Kazik, Yugoton and Kazik + Zdunek Ensemble. In February 2024, the Kult vocalist will perform twice at the Stodoła Club - as part of his solo project KAZIK, as well as with the ProForma Quartet from Poznań.
Kazik & Kwartet ProForma - 31 January 2025, Klub Stodoła
The history of this collaboration dates back to 2012, when the Quartet invited Kazik Staszewski - vocalist of the band Kult - to perform a dozen or so songs written by Stanisław Staszewski together at one of their concerts. This one-off project, which was also intended as a one-off, resulted in a joint concert programme consisting of Dad's songs and a few Kazik's songs, rarely or never performed live, further concerts with this line-up, and finally the formation of the fully-fledged project Kazik & Kwartet ProForma.
In 2015, Kazik and the ProForma Quartet released the joint album 'Vivisekcja', which featured interpretations of songs such as 'Oddalenie', 'Sztos', 'Deszczowe psy' and 'Gdybym wiedział to co wiem'. Another fruit of the collaboration was the concert DVD release 'Diwidisekcja', which featured a set of 31 tracks. On 19 May 2017, another joint album by Kazik Staszewski and the ProForma Quartet hit the shops. The final release was titled 'Kazik's Dad vs Hedora'.
