The trumpet is the instrument most associated with jazz. The trumpet was played by Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis and Tomasz Stanko. During the workshop, children will learn to recognise the normal sound of the trumpet and the muffled trumpet, learn about the construction of the trumpet and how the sound is produced, using examples of jazz standards (and more).
