Jalen Ngonda is a soul artist who effortlessly combines inspiration from the classic sounds of the 50s and 60s with a modern approach – while remaining true to tradition and giving the genre a fresh quality.

Raised in Maryland, Ngonda was inspired by classic soul music from a young age. Self-taught, he began playing in church, studied at LIPA in Liverpool, and then developed his career in London.
